The restorative dark of winter,
The quiet nourishing waters of the north,
Soft valleys to balance
against the bright light
and creative energy of
the high peaks.
I like the quiet hours of January. Winter afternoons are a good time to get out colored pencils and make mandalas. Creativity flourishes more easily within some some limits and the circle makes a comfortable space to go exploring.
On Thursday, January 25 I am again presenting a Creativity Workshop at the North Shore Library in Glendale. This time we will make mandalas. Working with colored pencils on black paper we will bring light to the dark of the winter afternoon.
Beginners welcome - absolutely no experience or skill as an artist is needed. More experienced artists will explore their creative potential.
There is no fee and all supplies are provided. Space is limited, contact the library to reserve your spot.
